Instead, they are four friends and baby boomers who firmly believe there is no age limit when it comes to pursuing dreams and running a crowd-funding campaign to help achieve it. However, they'd be the first ones to say; they didn't exactly pioneer the idea of an i-cord knitter.

countless hours knitting i-cord by hand and unable to find a machine that could do it for them, they decided to create their own. So they set out to bring the past back better with the I-Cord EZ Knitter.
Utilizing eight needles, the I-Cord EZ Knitter is a precision knitting machine that allows a person to knit high-quality i-cord within minutes. Its ease of use and reliable function make it an essential tool for the avid crafter and its simple ergonomic hand crank makes it arthritis friendly (unlike other machines with a traditional crank system that require the use of two hands).
Since embarking on this ambitious start-up, they've sourced a local manufacturer, competed in various business pitch competitions, opened an online storefront, and self-funded their way to reaching many huge milestones within the last two years. Now they've launched an Indiegogo crowd-funding campaign to help them raise enough funds to take the I-Cord EZ Knitter into full production.
The campaign officially launched April 27, 2016 and runs for 30 days. Their goal is to raise $25,000 which will be used to defray various start-up costs, such as production and fees associated with obtaining a final patent. They have also set up several gifts for various donation levels including an I-Cord EZ Knitter machine.
